  bonsoir je vous avez contactais et je suis proprietaire d une petite peterbalt de chez indre ideal cat et voudtrais la marié un mal en vu mais rien de fait vu que vous aviez une petite femelle marc

  Well I had to use a computer translater to read your Peterbald posts so I probably didn't get it completely. However I would say that 99.9% of the USA breeders have no idea what they are doing because not only are they new to the Peterbald but they are also new to breeding AND they are experts on everything so they don't need to listen. Meanwhile, I've been plodding along for 10 years now with the Peterbald-going from high ears to low ears, from straight profile to 2 planed profile & end up with all these different types in my cats from working with them so long and trying to follow the ever-changing standard. Now I throw all that away and just do what I think is right. I get a Russian OSH as the outcross to my Russian PD and use all Russian lines instead-well, or European anyway. The new USA PD breeders are serious about gossip but you seem serious about the PD. Refreshing! All the North American Sphynx(Canadian Sphynx) are really Don Sphynx/Peterbald pretending to be Canadian Sphynx-that's how they got the total hairlessness on a cat that doesn't have it as one of the genes-it has a very short fuzzy coat in the genetics.
  AS for the full brush coat that TICA just approved as a new trait-it's a Ronald McDonald hat on Marilyn Monroe. It doesn't work. You want a clown or you want elegance? They don't go together!! I'm just glad to see serious thought regarding the Peterbald even if I didn't get all of what you said!!
